North Okanagan Residential Real Estate Trends: June 2017
North Okagan sales of single family, attached-wall and apartment properties totaled 228 in June 2017, down -9.2% from the same month in 2016. By the same measure the average sale price was +8.0% higher (+5.0% year-to-date) reflecting higher sales-to-new listing ratios (measuring 74% in June 2017) and lower inventory levels (-16.3%) in general. That being said, annual inventory level differentials (averaging -31.1% year-to-date) have been shrinking continuously throughout the year which should eventually relive some of the North’s upward price pressures.
