Central Okanagan Home Sale Prices Contract Against Growing Inventories for Second Month in a Row in August 2017

Central Okanagan Residential Real Estate Trends: August 2017

Central Okanagan sales of single family, attached-wall and apartment properties totaled 499 in August 2016, which is 17% lower when compared to the same month in 2016. By the same measure the average sale price was +8% higher (+10.5% year-to-date).

However, this average sale price has fallen on a month-to-month basis for the second month in a row amidst increasing inventory levels (+16.8% over August 2016 inventories) that continue to encourage price relief.
