Central Okanagan Residential Real Estate Trends: October 2017
Central Okanagan sales of single family, attached-wall and apartment properties totaled 419 units in October 2017, which was down by -6% when compared to the same month in 2016, but higher by comparison to September 2017.
This unseasonal jump is sales was lead by a month-to-month increase in the number of single family homes that sold in October. Notably, the sales-to-listing ratio for single family homes in October 2017 was the highest for the year-to-date.
Overall, the average sale price was +12% higher in October 2017 by comparison to October 2016 (+12% year-to-date) amidst inventory levels that were 19% higher by the same measure.
