North Okanagan Residential Real Estate Trends: YEAR END 2017
North Okanagan sales of single family, attached-wall and apartment properties totaled 92 units in December 2017, which was equal to sales volumes in December 2016. Notably, new listings were also equal by the same comparison amidst a sales-to-listing ratio that equaled 124%.
Overall, the average sale price was +13% higher in December 2017 (+7.4% year to date) by comparison to December 2016 while inventory levels remained lower by -17%.
In total, 2017 saw the collective average residential sale price of single family, attached-wall and apartment properties grew by 7.4% across in North Okanagan despite a -3.1% drop in overall sales volumes; a testament to just how tight sales-to-listing conditions have recently been in the region.
